02 / ENGINEERING DELIVERABLES

A defined package.
Not a whole EPC contract.

These deliverables can be selected individually. Scope can be limited to drafting or document review under the client's engineering leadership.

01Weighing signal / interface listIssued XLSX/CSV register: tags, signal types, destinations and source/revision references.
02PLC cabinet wiringIssued numbered PDF drawing sheets; editable EPLAN/DWG source files where specified.
03terminal schedulesIssued XLSX/PDF report: cable/core or terminal references, destinations and connection details.
04cable listsIssued XLSX/PDF report: cable/core or terminal references, destinations and connection details.
05FAT checklistIssued editable XLSX/DOCX and PDF template or checked test record, as contracted.
06 / OPTIONALI/O List / Signal Register (AI, AO, DI, DO)Signals, channel assignments and interfaces; optional if not already included.
07 / OPTIONALControl Panel GA / Internal LayoutMounting plate, DIN rails, wire ducts, devices and clearances; optional panel scope.
08 / OPTIONALBill of Materials (BOM) / Device ScheduleManufacturers, part numbers, quantities and references; optional panel scope.
Issued documentation, not just engineering hours.

Each selected deliverable is entered in an agreed document register with revision, review stage and file format. Native EPLAN/DWG files, PDFs and XLSX/CSV registers are provided only when included in the RFQ. Optional items shown above are not included automatically.

03 / CLIENT INPUTS & QA

From project inputs
to review-ready files.

Client provides

  • Approved P&IDs, equipment list and functional/design boundaries
  • Current vendor package drawings, tags and instrument datasheets
  • Instrument/motor quantities and required file formats (EPLAN, PDF, XLSX as agreed)
  • Owner's standards register and controlled document numbering templates

Typical review activities

  • Identify unresolved P&ID, tag and interface discrepancies
  • Map device signals, terminal/wire IDs and instrument references
  • Check BOM, I/O, loop and cable schedule consistency
  • Issue comment register and agreed revision for client approval

Acceptance conditions

  • Named engineering reviewer on customer's side
  • Defined technical assumptions and change-control route
  • Mutually approved deliverables, format and number of revisions
  • Any site sign-off and regulated acceptance outside remote package
04 / APPLICABLE REFERENCES

Equipment requirements.
Then local rules.

Listed standards are potential design references, not universal compliance claims. The responsible engineer confirms application, edition, contractual adoption and local rules.

TECHNOLOGY / PROCESS

Relevant technical codes

OIML / local legal metrology where relevant; IEC 60204-1 for machinery; IEC 61082 / IEC 81346 for drawing structure and equipment identification where adopted.

Requirements vary by equipment construction and process classification.
NL / MACHINE & ELECTRICAL

Netherlands context

NEN-EN IEC 60204-1 for machinery and EN IEC 61439 for applicable LV assemblies, where project-relevant.

NEN 1010 for fixed LV installations; NEN 3140 concerns operation and working practices. Client/designer confirms obligations.

Fixed site installation and product documentation are separate work scopes.
CLIENT-OWNED RESPONSIBILITY

Excluded from this package

Certified trade measurement and metrological conformity handled by authorised parties.

Safety of machinery, local mining permits and critical protective functions are retained by the appointed owner / OEM design authority.
ASSEMBLY STANDARD / WHEN APPLICABLE

IEC 61439 and cabinet design

For in-scope low-voltage switchgear/controlgear assemblies, apply IEC 61439-1 together with the relevant product part (typically IEC 61439-2), subject to national adoption and the project specification. IEC 60204-1 may also apply to machine electrical equipment.

Engineering drawings are not evidence of assembly conformity. The responsible manufacturer retains design verification, routine verification, product conformity and approval duties unless separately assigned to a qualified party.
