Select the documents you need for a PLC cabinet, MCC, VFD panel or skid-mounted control package. These are distinct deliverables; a schematic-only order does not automatically include the full manufacturing package.

IEC 61439 — equipment-dependent
When the package is a low-voltage switchgear/controlgear assembly, the design basis may include IEC/EN 61439-1 together with the applicable product part, frequently IEC/EN 61439-2. For machine electrical equipment, IEC/EN 60204-1 may be relevant. The responsible manufacturer or appointed qualified party retains assembly design verification, routine verification and product conformity obligations.

Process conditions, protective-function decisions, hazardous-area classification and custody-transfer approval are input/approval responsibilities of the project’s authorised disciplines, not automatically included in a drafting subcontract.
03 / ISSUANCE & ACCEPTANCE
How the files

Editable when scoped
Native EPLAN/DWG files, PDF drawing issue, and XLSX/CSV data registers. Software version and licence/access method agreed beforehand.
Traceable changes
Comment matrix, assumptions and discrepancy log, drawing/register consistency checks, agreed revision cycle.
Clear approvals
Client or designated responsible engineer approves technical decisions. Physical fabrication, FAT execution, certification and statutory sign-off require separate scope.
