CONTRACTING / QUALITY / CONFIDENTIALITY

Professional delivery.
Clear responsibilities.

A procurement-ready operating model for independent E&I engineering subcontracting — scope, confidential material, document ownership and insurance requirements.

01 / SUPPLIER ASSURANCE

Structured for
B2B engagement.

This is a design-stage representation of the intended contracting process, not a claim that all policies and registrations are already in force.

01 / RISK COVER

Professional Indemnity Insurance

PI cover is part of the target operating model for insured engineering activities. Before live use, policy limits, insured services, geographical/territorial coverage, exclusions, insurer and certificate of insurance must be verified against the agreed engagement.

MODEL STATUS · Policy not represented as active
02 / INFORMATION SECURITY

NDA & Confidentiality

Non-disclosure arrangements are agreed before receiving confidential drawings, specifications, project files or personal data. Client materials are not repurposed as public references without written authorisation.

Client information handled according to agreed data transfer and access rules.
03 / WORK PRODUCT

Deliverables & IP Rights

Each contract identifies native engineering formats, document list, issue status, review rounds, ownership and permitted reuse of templates or pre-existing know-how.

Acceptance linked to a signed-off deliverables register.
04 / QUALITY CONTROL

Review & Handover

Defined input documents, technical assumptions, revision history, comment resolution and final engineering handover. External approvals and regulated sign-off are separately assigned where applicable.

Roles and scope limits confirmed before work starts.
05 / COMMERCIAL

Milestones & Liability

Scope, acceptance tests, payment milestones, variation requests and liability allocation are agreed through contract terms. Insured and uninsured risks require explicit review rather than a blanket marketing promise.

Contract terms subject to client procurement and legal review.
06 / ONBOARDING

Supplier Verification

Business registration, tax and payment details, references and insurance evidence are shared with an authorised B2B contact through a controlled onboarding process when available.

No private registration or personal number published in this catalogue.
02 / WHEN INSURANCE IS REQUIRED

Coverage follows
the actual scope.

Engineering design errors are distinct from installation, field commissioning, cyber and contractual warranty exposures. An appropriate policy should be evaluated against the actual activities, client jurisdiction and liability terms.

Professional Indemnity (PI)

Design advice/documentation errors and professional negligence within stated insured services, policy terms and limits.

Public / General Liability

Potentially relevant for authorised site visits, installation or physical activities; not assumed for remote CAD-only scopes.

Cyber / Data Risks

Evaluate separately for confidential datasets, cloud transfers and system access; not automatically covered by PI.

03 / SUPPLIER ONBOARDING

Need procurement or
insurance details?

Start with non-confidential project details. Appropriate evidence and contractual requirements can then be discussed before any binding engagement.
